I arrived at the Plaza today around 4:30 pm. The first thing I noticed were the twin chimneys, one at The Black Sheep and the other at Alex's sending out a plume indicating that a welcome hearth was ready to warm the chilled patron, there to enjoy something relaxing as the fires crackle.
Both of these fine establishments deserve our attention and devotion. Being able to invite family and friends to gather in a public place in the glow of a blazing fire, this over, perhaps, a warm beverage to sooth the chill of a Winter's Night...well, that's Ashland.
Drop by and let these fine folks know that you appreciate the little and important things in life.
Don't hold back. Go for the embers...

This proves my theory about Kommies and their liberal Ashland sheep not knowing a goddamn thing about preserving our environment. All this use of wood and coal and oil to hear ourselves in the winter would be moot if this pack of anti-American goat herders would just let global warming get going like it's supposed to. That's the whole point of it, you idiots!!! This is why George W. Bush is the greatest leader of all time, to unilaterally void the Kyoto Agreement so that pansies like Essentially Trashland can stay warm while saving our precious natural resources for powering Hummers and the other basic necessities of life.
Get a brain and join the Republican Reich... er, I mean, Party, and save this country from being ruled by its citizens!! Wake up!!
